Advanced search: Allows you to refine a search with additional criteria.

Artist: Member using the site to submit and promote his works and make them available to purchaser members.

Author: Synonymous with “artist”.

Buyer: Member using the site to find visual resources.

Category: Level of files on the Vectoriel website. There are five file categories ranging from S to XXL.

Cashing: Cashing the Vecto you have earned in Euros.

Club: Highest level of ranking of artists on the Vectoriel website.

Community: All members of the Vectoriel website.

Comp: Watermarked preview of a file, downloadable free of charge from the product page of the file.

Copyright: Guarantees an author’s rights. It is represented by the symbol: ©

Crediting: Crediting your account in Vecto.

Database: All the resources submitted by author members.

Directory: Allows you to find all the artists represented on the site quickly and easily.

Download: Downloading a file to a computer from the Vectoriel website.

EPS: Format of vectors downloadable on the Vectoriel website.

Earnings: All the Vectos earned through downloading of your works by buyer members.

Exclusivity: File available only on the Vectoriel website.

Extension: Allows an unlimited number of uses of a file.

Indexing: Allows you to reference the files you submit on the Vectoriel website and thus increase their visibility.

JPEG: Format of photos and illustrations downloadable on the Vectoriel website.

Keywords: Set of words indexed by the author to facilitate searching in the Vectoriel website database.

License: Define not only the uses which authors agree to allow for each of their files but also the requirements purchasers must comply with when they acquire a license.

Product page: Presentation page of a file.

Raking: Level of artists on the Vectoriel website. There are ten artist rankings ranging from Start to Club.

Results page: Page containing all the files corresponding to a search.

Royalties: All the Vectos earned through downloading of your works by purchaser members.

Training: Allows you to learn how to use the various functions of the Vectoriel website.

Upload: Uploading a file to the Vectoriel website from a computer.

Username: Allows you to identify yourself on the Vectoriel website.

Vector: A vector is a vector drawing.

Vecto: Unit of currency adopted by the Vectoriel website. 1 Vecto = 1€

Watermark: Security measure applied to models to prevent copyright infringement.
