Welcome to the Vectoriel website photos training course,

Advantages of photos

Today, owing to the widespread use of digital cameras, professionals and beginners can devote themselves more easily to their passion and create powerful images which can be used in all personal or professional communication.

Submit your photos

To increase your chances of getting your visuals placed on line, Vectoriel offers you this training which will indicate to you precisely the type of files accepted.

Two methods of uploading

Vectoriel offers you two methods to upload your files on its site:

     • FTP: This system allows you to upload an unlimited number of files in one go.

     • Manual:
This system allows you to upload from 1 to 10 files at a time.

Format of your photos

To submit your photos on the site, please attach in the following formats:

  • RGB JPG,
  • Resolution between 3.8 and 25 MP (Megapixels),
  • Do not exceeding 30 MB.

Quality of your photos

To ensure that your files are accepted for placing on line and appreciated by other Vectoriel members, a list of quality criteria to be met has been drawn up.

Your files must thus meet the following requirements:

  • Do not have a poor focus,
  • Do not have a poor lighting,
  • Have a good composition,
  • Do not be resized.

Name of your photos

To facilitate organisation when indexing your files, we advise you to give them short and explicit names relating to their content.

Indexing of your photos

To enable you to stand out and allow your files to be seen by millions of Internet users, Vectoriel provides you with a simple and effective indexing system.

For each file you upload you will thus have to fill in and validate the following fields:

  • Title: Be concise and effective.
  • Language: Choose your indexing language to facilitate translation.
  • Keywords: Evoke in a general way the main themes of your file. The keywords are essential because they will allow other Vectoriel members to find your visual on the site. You must therefore think of the keywords they would type to find your visual.
  • Description: Give a concise description of your file in a few lines and highlight its atmosphere and its concept.
  • Choice of preview: Centre your miniature for better visibility on Vectoriel website search pages.
  • Choice of galleries: Place your file in the galleries corresponding to it. They will enable it to be found more quickly by millions of Internet users.
  • Additional indexing: To improve the visibility of your file on the site and facilitate searches by other members, Vectoriel provides you with additional indexing criteria to select.
  • Choice of exclusivity: Choose whether or not to make your file exclusive to Vectoriel and increase your earnings and percentages on each of your sales.
  • Choice of licenses: Choose the user licenses you wish to offer for sale. For further information go to our Prices and Licenses page.
  • Validation: Validate your indexing and find out quickly whether or not your file is accepted by Vectoriel.
  • Placing on line: Validate placing on line from your personal profile.

  • Be over the age of majority in your country,
